Scarpia, this series was really brilliant. I've been listening to these and the music is a true delight. Melodic and beautiful. What a surprise this turned out to be. Thanks for a great discovery!
On this, my first visit to your blog, I was blown away to see this amazing Ernesto Lecuona series. Being a jazz junkie, I know Lecuona but only in the context of the "Lecuona Cuban Boys", a very polished, well-traveled dance band popular in the 30s and 40s.
I've just scarfed up all the links and look forward to getting to know Ernesto from a different perspective. Many thanks, Scarpia.
