Fellows, my HD crashed and I had to replace it. Therefore all the information I had on the crashed HD, which was a lot, is being recovered step by step. Hope to return in about 3 days. See you.

Coming Up Next: Anna Stella Schic

On February 1, the great brazilian pianist Anna Stella Schic has passed away. She was 83. It's a great loss for the piano world, and her recordings of Villa-Lobo's complete piano works are unbeatable. So, as a hommage to this great lady of the piano I'm gonna post these recordings along the entire next week. Not so easy to find and not to be missed.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Well fellows, another year is gone. Good things happened, bad things happened, as usual. What matters is that we're all here to celebrate this important date. To all of you my best wishes of a Merry Christmas and a new year full of hope that many good things will happen along it.
I'm gonna take a break for a couple weeks and hope to return on January 5th.

The Concert Hall Is Open

After a long hiatus The Concert Hall is open again. It's my intention to post on Mondays and Thursdays but in case of unavailability at least one of these days will have a post. Since we've stayed a long time off air let's compensate this period with a great post: The Mahler Symphonies Cycle made by Leonard Bernstein in the 60's. For many classical music experts these are the best Mahler Symphonies recordings ever. I agree. It's already posted here below. Enjoy.
